Jesus Sends His People

Acts 1:1–11 shows that Jesus is alive, still working, and continuing His mission through His people. He gives the Holy Spirit to empower believers and calls them to be His witnesses, starting where they are and moving outward. As we begin the book of Acts, we are reminded that the mission did not end with the apostles—it has now come to us.
