A Spirit-Formed Church

In Acts 2:42–47, Luke gives us a picture of what life looked like in the earliest days of the church after the coming of the Holy Spirit. These believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, prayer, fellowship, generosity, and shared life together. And as God shaped them into a Spirit-formed people, others were drawn to Jesus. This passage not only shows us what happened in the early church, but also what kind of church God calls His people to be today.
