Acts 16:16-40
Following Jesus does not mean life will be easy, and sometimes faithfulness to God can actually lead us into suffering. In Acts 16:16–40, Paul and Silas are beaten and imprisoned for their faithfulness, yet they continue to trust God, worship Him, and bear witness to Christ. Their story reminds us that God is with His people in suffering and uses even our suffering to advance the gospel.
